The boys in my family got to go up in a B-17 last week. So jealous. It has sentimental value to me: my grandpa crashed in a plane just like this during WWII. I even got the crew chief to open the hatch to the tailgunner’s position so I could sit in the seat. Being young and blonde has its advantages sometimes. Isn’t she pretty?

Turns out a rainstorm during the first half hour of a reception makes for a beautiful ending for the evening. Court, you are gorgeous. And so was your day.
